Cub News
Pets at Home

Cubs had very exciting visits to 'Pets at Home Supermarket'. They were given pets to handle, told how they must look after their pets and then were able to gain another Badge. A very important visit to make sure that the Young People understand the well-being of pets in their own homes.

Cubs Outing to the Black Country Museum

Irthlingborough Cubs joined with other Packs from the Nene Valley District to visit the interesting Black Country Museum taking a step back in time! They toured the open-air museum experiencing life in Victorian times, attending a class at a typical school, with totally different teaching conditions to which they were used to! A great day for all with thanks to our Leaders for arranging he event.

Cubs County Camp - Overstone 2018

Our Cubs joined with hundreds of Cubs and their Leaders from all over Northamptonshire for the biggest event ever! Irthlingborough joined forces with 1st Rushden Cubs and took part in activities including archery, crazy golf, backwoods cooking, football, craft, inflatables, scalectrics and all the real fun of camping. Complemented by really good hot weather, the Cubs returned very tired but all with one comment " the best camp ever!" Sincere thanks to Karen Hutchinson and her Team for working hard to arrange the activity for our Cubs. THANK YOU!

Cubs Night Hike

A Night-hike for the Cubs was organised on a really cold night along the local footpaths ending at the Rushden Lakes Shopping Complex.

Cubs Climbing at the Rock Centre

The Cubs were given a special evening at the Rock Frontier Centre at Irthlingborough to try out some climbing on their purpose-built wall. Cub Leader Anna, who works at the Centre, arranged this professionally supervised event - which was a new and exciting experience for the Cubs. Thank you Anna!
