Christmas Tree Festival

Beavers and Cubs made decorations for the new Christmas Tree on show at the Christmas Tree Festival at the Methodist Church, Irthlingborough.

This effort helped to raise funds for the Church and it's work in the Town over the weekend of 7-8th December.

Irthlingborough Carnival

The Group took a full part in this year’s Carnival. Scouts provided the Change Wagon in front of the Parade and the Cubs and Beavers entered a float depicting ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’..

Even Nick Powell looked the part in his best suit starring as ‘Willy Wonka’ –an appropriate RÔLE for our beloved Group Scout Leader!!

The float won a Silver Cup as the best Young Peoples’ Entry 2013.

The Scout Active Support Unit (SASU) made teas and coffees to support the activities at the Recreation Ground and raised over £200.00 for Group Funds.

Thanks must go to all the Leader Team ,Helpers and Parents who made the day a great success.
