Mary G - Sailing Weekend 2019

In September, the Young People were given a great opportunity to crew and take part in a sailing weekend at Ipswich. The event was kindly given by Mr. and Mrs Alan Watts and proved it's usual great success! Scouts and Explorer Scouts enjoyed a trip along the Orwell and sailing into the North Sea. Thanks to the Leader Team who supported our Young People and arranged a camping weekend to provide this activity.

Irthlingborough Carnival 2019

Success again for the Group! Cubs entered their 'Teddy Bears Picnic' float and won a Silver Cup! Well done! Explorer Scouts headed the Town Parade with our 1914 Trek Cart giving out the change - and winning yet another Cup.... All this was supported by the Scout Active Support Unit's Refreshment Stall raising funds for our own Scout Group.
