Explorers Programme

The ‘ TITANS’ Explorer Scout Unit is made up of Young People principally from Irthlingborough who meet together and have an exciting programme – all part of the Nene Valley District Scouts. Click here to see our current programme.

Most activities are organised by the Explorers themselves, under qualified Adult Leadership and is open to young men and women 14-18 years old.

The activity programme is varied and contributes to the Chief Scouts Diamond and Platinum Award and towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme – which is a Nationally recognised achievement.

Meetings are usually held on a Tuesday evening at the Irthlingborough Scout Headquarters.

Many of our Young Leaders have found that being an Explorer Scout gives them an introduction into Leadership and the incentive to gain the prestigious Queens Scout Award when they become part of Scout Network.
